With one of his first sentences, my son asked me to build a 'spaceship game'.

What is The Fried Industry?
The philosophy of The Fried Industry is to 'Sci-Fi Responsibly' through advocating an accessible framework and launch pad to debate and project the future; challenges to occupy individuals and scratch their Sci-Fi itch while on break, on the Universal Waste Management System, or another screen while playing something else.
Excessive creations of a mind that refuses to stop thinking and tinkering, focused into Philosophical Science Fiction concerned with complacency, greed, oversaturation, and humanity’s privilege in this fried industry we all seem to be a part of.
To quote Clarke, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
To quote Niven, “Any sufficiently analyzed magic is indistinguishable from science.”
And, to quote Pratchett, “It doesn’t stop being magic just because you know how it works.”
Feelings are difficult to kill, but they are a lot harder to resurrect. TFI aims to distill nostalgia with something effectively fresh that was heavily researched and tinkered with for overpowered experiences (OP-XP), something humans can be proud to let the littlest family members engage with crayons. -
Who is Behind The Fried Industry?
Greetings, and happy to have you here! I am Nativefry, a designer and producer who makes things to advocate and inspire synthesizing a full life led with clarity. Or, if you like, I currently make philosophical Sci-Fi with a spoonful of scholarly futurism, concerned with calibrating inner focus, enhancing intent to frame the mind, all while assuming none of the responsibility yielded from an academic or corporate touchstone.
Some of the questions I asked myself a few years ago were:- “If I created my own Sci-Fi sandbox to build in for the rest of my life, what would that look like when it is completed on a shelf?
- "How would it tell the story around it if it were sitting on a table in the mess hall of a future human spacecraft?"
- "How can I sit in a coffee shop or online with a stranger and have the ideal conversation about the stars, what humanity is projected to become, and what it would look like throughout the Kardashev Scale and beyond?”
Please enjoy the journey to answer these questions and to complete the venture of making something worthy of my son's efforts. It is both a dream and an honor to fulfil his request and contribute a framework that has been tempered with precision, and is light enough to be played in the galley, on the grass, or in the mess deck while travelling the Milky Way Galaxy (it is resistant to cosmic noise). Best wishes and thank you for your bandwidth, now go get some meaning out of your day!
